This is a small dramatherapy group for autistic young people aged between 11 – 14 years old, with medium to high support needs. The course will run for 8 weeks with 2 information and support sessions before and after for family members.
Dramatherapy uses drama techniques to build upon the young persons’ interests, creativity and strengths for communication in a small supportive group.
No prior experience of drama is necessary.
Participants can be non speaking and maintain choice and influence over the creative process. Young people who attend are offered an experience of enjoyable communication to support their psychological health. They can be accompanied by a family member.
Mondays 4.30pm – 5.30pm from 22nd September
£350 (£35 per session) including parents information meetings and dramatherapy.
